Realme Buds Q available for purchase in Kenya

Chinese brand realme’s latest introduction to the Kenyan market are its true wireless earbuds, the realme Buds Q.

The realme Buds Q feature 10mm drivers with dynamic bass boost, 119ms super-low latency mode, making them suitable for gaming, 20-hour battery life, IPX4 rating for water and sweat resistance and connectivity to compatible devices via Bluetooth 5.0, thanks to their R1Q chip which ensures they instantly connect to the paired device as soon as one opens their case.

The case, which is where they charged through, is itself charged via its microUSB port.

Control of the realme Buds Q is via touch controls on either side with a double tap playing music or stopping any multimedia playback or answering a call. A long press on one of them ends the call while doing the same on both earbuds results in the realme Buds Q entering gaming mode in order to deliver the aformentioned low-latency.

The controls can be customized via the realme Link app which adds the Buds Q to realme’s expanding artificially intelligent IoT ecosystem.

According to realme, the Buds Q stay connected within a 10 metre radius.

The introduction of the realme Buds Q in the Kenyan market comes just over a month since a similar pair of true wireless earbuds from the same brand were made available locally. The realme Buds Air Neo cost Kshs 1,000 more than the Buds Q.

The realme Buds Q are going for Kshs 4,000 and come in Quite Black, Quite White, and Quite Yellow colours. Buyers of the recently-unveiled realme C15 smartphone can get them with every purchase of the device on Kilimall.

Additionally, for those looking for a freebie, realme Kenya is running a giveaway on its Instagram page.
